The goal of this thesis, through the aid and comparison of articles in scientific literature, is to develop a re-educational process following injury to the hamstring muscles. This event in the sports field corresponds to a frequent and repetitive episode both in individual sports and in team sports, particularly basketball. Being a contact sport with important movement dynamics of various kinds, this sport is subject to different types of injuries that distance the athlete from competitive activity for a more or less prolonged time. The search for the bibliography was conducted mainly through the use of research and the revision of the database of various articles of a scientific nature, including Pubmed, Google Scholar and through specific consultation of various sites and textbooks. The paper is divided into several chapters where attention is paid to the anatomy and functionality of the hamstring muscles, the biomechanics of the damaging dynamics and the type of muscle injury. The focus of the thesis then focuses on the post-injury rehabilitation process in all its components, highlighting re-athletization, a specific phase of the graduate in motor science. Through this rehabilitation process, the injured athlete will be able to resume sporting activity and complete his return to the field in complete safety.

Abstract
Through this rehabilitation process, the injured athlete will be able to resume sporting activity and complete his return to the field in complete safety.È consentito all'utente scaricare e condividere i documenti disponibili a testo pieno in UNITESI UNIPV nel rispetto della licenza Creative Commons del tipo CC BY NC ND.
