The fourth industrial revolution conceptualizes rapid change to technologies, industries, and societal patterns and processes in the 21st century due to increasing interconnectivity and smart automation. The devices which transformed the interconnectivity and smart automation are called as Internet of Things (IoT), this device leads the present generation technologies into the future thus making everything wireless and faster with fewer errors. In this thesis work, we will be seeing the conceptional use of these devices in the field of inventory or warehouse management. Due to errors and miscommunication, the material in inventory is miscalculated and as a result, the material is ordered before or later which results in wastage of material, money, and time. To counter this error or miscommunications. IoT devices are used to control errors and prevent wastage.
