Thesis objective: The paper aims to demonstrate how BlazePod technology can be used in a clinical setting, adapting it to different conditions and pathologies to improve physical and cognitive abilities. Methodology, sources and tools used: Scientific articles on the subject were viewed, using multiple search databases such as PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar. Objective data were obtained from the BlazePod instrumentation through the appropriate App, from which it was possible to download an Excel file containing all the work data obtained during training. The SPPB guide App was used as a guide and support to carry out the initial and final functional tests. Microsoft Office Excel was used for data processing and comparison. Stages of the thesis: The first part of the thesis focuses on the presentation of the Flash Reflex devices, with particular attention to the BlazePod and the description of the pathologies and conditions that the subjects involved in the study presented. The second part of the work concerns the means and methods used to extrapolate information on the subject from the scientific literature. Finally, in the third and last part the data obtained from the experimentation are compared. Results and conclusions: From the results obtained it is possible to deduce that all the subjects who participated in the study improved their reaction times to the proposed stimulus; also in the SPPB test administered at the beginning and at the end of the six weeks, improvements were found in most patients; this could be a good result to be able to continue the research and better investigate various aspects.
Metodi, fonti e strumenti utilizzati: Sono stati visionati articoli scientifici in merito all’argomento, utilizzando molteplici database di ricerca come PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar.
