Thesis objective: The paper has as its main objective to analyze and compare scientific articles dealing with physical activity in young people. Furthermore, the effects that physical inactivity brings on young people and how obesity is still a constantly growing factor will be explored. Methods, sources and tools used: To develop the work, studies, articles or experiments on the topics covered were searched in the international scientific literature. The review was performed with a search of databases, such as Pub Med, Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science, PEDRo, Cochrane Library and others. Stages of thesis: The work involves the exposure of the main concepts of body image, the benefits that physical activity brings to young people and how obesity is still a highly developed factor among children and adolescents. Subsequently, two articles will be considered that deal with how young people see physical activity and what drives them to practice it and two other articles that take up the issue related to obesity in children and adolescents. Finally, a proposal for an intervention will follow which will outline how to bring young people closer to sports in order to prevent sedentary lifestyle and consequently obesity. Results and conclusions: This thesis wants to reflect on the fact that physical activity should not be underestimated especially in children and adolescents. It's important to disclose as much as possible how sport and movement are physical, healthy and mental well-being. It will be necessary for teachers, parents, guardians to educate about the movement. In the future it will be necessary to analyze whether the physical activity of children and adolescents will evolve for the better or if there will be more and more young people who will choose a sedentary lifestyle.
Obbiettivo della tesi: L’elaborato ha come obbiettivo principale analizzare e confrontare articoli scientifici che trattano dell’attività fisica nei giovani. Inoltre, si approfondiranno gli effetti che l’inattività fisica porta nei giovani e di come l’obesità sia ancora un fattore in costante crescita. Metodi, fonti e strumenti utilizzati: Per sviluppare il lavoro si è proceduto a ricercare nella letteratura scientifica internazionale studi, articoli o sperimentazioni sugli argomenti trattati. La revisione è stata eseguita con una ricerca su database, quali Pub Med, Google Scholar, Scopus, Web of Science, PEDRo, Cochrane Library ed altri ancora. Tappe del lavoro: Il lavoro prevede l’esposizione dei concetti principali di immagine corporea, dei benefici che l’attività fisica porta nei giovani e di come l’obesità sia ancora un fattore molto sviluppato tra i bambini e adolescenti. Successivamente verranno presi in considerazione due articoli che trattano di come i giovani vedono l’attività fisica e cosa li spinge a praticarla e altri due articoli che riprendono la tematica legata all’obesità nei bambini e adolescenti. Seguirà infine una proposta di intervento la quale delineerà come far avvicinare i giovani all’attività sportiva in modo da prevenire la sedentarietà e di conseguenza l’obesità. Risultati e conclusioni Questa tesi vuole riflettere sul fatto che l’attività fisica non va sottovalutata specialmente nei bambini e adolescenti. È importante divulgare il più possibile di come lo sport e il movimento siano un benessere fisico, salutare e mentale. Sarà necessario che insegnanti, genitori, tutori educhino al movimento. In un futuro sarà necessario analizzare se l’attività fisica di bambini e adolescenti si evolverà per il meglio o se ci saranno sempre più giovani che sceglieranno la sedentarietà.
