This paper aims to determine how a company can achieve a state of high growth from its foundation, trying to clarify what resources it needs and how to manage said growth. To find an answer, both primary and secondary sources were used. The primary sources include internal documents of a company, Dataiku SAS, and four interviews conducted with its employees. Dataiku is an artificial intelligence and machine learning company that has faced high growth since its founding in 2013, and in less than nine years has reached more than 450 customers worldwide, opened offices in Europe, America, and Asia, and hired more than 900 employees. Interviews were conducted separately and each interviewee was asked questions related to their role, except for the last question which was the same for everyone and aimed to identify how the company had managed to grow rapidly according to their experience. Secondary sources consisted of relevant articles and books on this topic. The main findings indicate that there are elements in the business ecosystem that if managed properly can become growth drivers. The main ones are corporate culture, public policy, research and development, and its relationship with marketing. The last two elements are particularly relevant in high-tech companies, which have been observed to be the largest percentage of high-growth companies. Questo testo ha come obiettivo di determinare come un'azienda possa raggiungere uno stato di crescita rapida fin dalla sua fondazione, cercando di chiarire quali sono le risorse di cui ha bisogno e come gestire la suddetta crescita. Per trovare una risposta, sono state usate sia fonti primarie che secondarie. Le fonti primarie comprendono documenti interni a un'azienda, Dataiku SAS, e quattro interviste svolte a suoi dipendenti. Dataiku é una azienda di intelligenza artificiale e apprendimento automatico che ha affrontato una crescita elevata fin dalla sua fondazione nel 2013, e che in meno di nove anni ha raggiunto più di 450 clienti in tutto il mondo, aperto uffici in Europa, America e Asia, e assunto più di 900 dipendenti. Le interviste sono state condotte separatamente e ad ogni intervistato sono state poste domande correlate al suo ruolo, ad eccezione dell'ultima domanda che era uguale per tutti e mirava ad identificare come l'azienda fosse riuscita a crescere rapidamente secondo la loro esperienza. Le fonti secondarie consistono in articoli e libri rilevanti su questo argomento. I risultati principali indicano che vi sono elementi nell'ecosistema aziendale che se gestiti correttamente possono diventare motori di crescita. I principali sono la cultura aziendale, le politiche pubbliche, la ricerca e lo sviluppo, e la sua relazione con il marketing. Gli ultimi due elementi sono particolarmente rilevanti nelle aziende high-tech, che sono state osservate essere la più grande percentuale di aziende ad alta crescita. Tenendo in considerazione e gestendo questi elementi, e possibile per le aziende sperimentare un’alta crescita.
