L’OSSERVATORE CALCISTICO E LO SCOUTING

ABSTRACT Thesis objective: This thesis aims to analyze an essential figure within a football club (or to describe a figure...) such as that of the observer. We will focus on the scouting activity carried out by the latter. Methodology, sources and tools used: To formulate this thesis, research was carried out in scientific and sports journals, manuals of the Sports Science course, websites were consulted and professionals in the sector were interviewed which allowed me to understand the topic of this thesis in more detail and business suit. (from which, in addition to finding information for my thesis, i learned many things relating to the topic). Stages of the thesis: My work will initially analyze the sporting discipline in a broader way; The focus will then be on scouting activities, explaining the methods used by observers to analyse, view and report players to their team. Results and conclusions: In today's football the role of the observer is of fundamental importance, especially for the youth sectors, not only to buy players but also to analyze the improvements of their academy.
