Cinematherapy and video treatments are innovative interventions based on different therapeutic backgrounds. The objective of this research is to determine if there would be differences in sensitivity to film stimuli during the experiment in healthy participants. Six ad hoc-created videos were viewed by students of Università degli Studi di Pavia who study in humanistic and non-humanistic fields. Our findings showed that there was a significant Group effect. On the EDI scales, Humanistic study field students had higher score compared those who follow the Non-Humanistic study areas. Moreover, the EDI scale revealed a statistically significant interaction between Group and BPQ. Interestingly, there was considerable interaction between Humanistic and Non-Humanistic participants with a middle BPQ and those with a high BPQ. However, there were no significant findings for the BPQ and group effect with the AESTHEMOS scale. These findings are important for developing cinematherapy and identifying which individuals/groups are more sensitive to film stimuli. Keywords: cinematherapy, video treatment, sensibility
