This thesis work is focused on solving the problem of scheduling an appointment between individuals. For solving this problem, it was designed a scheduling workflow that was inspired by commercial web applications for scheduling appointments. This workflow was implemented as an additional feature in the web application of the ELIO online shopping platform. The Thesis is organized as follows: • Chapter 2 presents the state of the art of scheduling web application • Chapter 3 explains the workflow followed to schedule the appointments • Chapter 4 explains the tools and framework used • Chapter 5 presents the concrete implementation, with an explanation of the user interface • finally, the conclusions in Chapter 6.
Un’applicazione web per una prenotazione efficace degli appuntamenti. L’obiettivo di questo progetto di tesi e’ quello di risolvere il problema di fissare un appuntamento in maniera efficiente tra due persone. Per risolvere questo problema e’ stata progettata una procedura, ispirata da siti web commerciali per fissare appuntamenti. La procedura teorica e’ poi stata implementata sotto forma di funzionalita’ aggiuntive per l’applicazione web di E-commerce Live International Organization (ELIO). La tesi e’ organizzata come segue: • Capitolo 2 illustra lo stato dell’arte di applicazioni web per fissare appuntamenti • Capitolo 3 spiega la procedura teorica per fissare gli appuntamenti • Capitolo 4 presenta gli strumenti e i framework utilizzati • Capitolo 5 illustra l’implementazione dell’applicazione, spiegandone anche l’interfaccia grafica • infine, le conclusioni nel Capitolo 6.
