The purpose of the Digital Anastylosis of Frescoes challenge (DAFAE) is to collect methods for the digital anastylosis of frescoes. The objective of image reconstruction is to refer to a process of selecting the correct fragments from the mixed pieces to reconstruct the damaged frescoes. For the dataset of frescoes, each fresco consists of a well-known set of digital fragments mixed with the original frescoes and stray elements, so we need to deal with the fragments set to better reconstruct the frescoes. In the field of frescoes restoration, most research focus on the shape of debris, but the colour field of frescoes is well studied. Colour feature is a very important research feature in the field of image processing, so colour space is very worthy of further study in the field of frescoes restoration. Therefore, this paper focuses on exploit the contextual analysis to sort the dataset of frescoes fragments in cultural heritage.
