With the development of China's economic strength, social, medical and health, transportation and other undertakings have made considerable progress. At the same time, the construction of large-scale general hospital is also in full swing. But it also brings some problems in the development process. For example, the large-scale general hospital located in the big city such as China's regional center, developed the phenomenon of traffic congestion and disorder in the peak period on working days, which has affected the operation of the hospital and the surrounding normal city traffic. Thus, this paper deduces the work on research the flow of personnel in large-scale general hospital and their corresponding proportion, then analysis the behavior time distribution of the main stream, after that discusses their choices of various types of vehicles when entering the hospital in the peak period, which can find the main cause of hospital traffic problems. In the face of the cause of congestion, on the basis of summarizing and evaluating the common treatment methods of the hospital, this paper analysis the necessity of the spatial organization design by means of three-dimensional traffic methods, and puts forward the basic design principles and design points. Taking the Pingjiang Hospital as an example to carry out the research and optimization design, and to evaluate and improve the design points of the theoretical part. Therefore, the author hopes to provide the solution to the related problems of the current architectural design practice.
