Gender equality is a right and guaranteeing it should be the duty of every nation; however, work has always been an area in which a predominantly male culture has developed, especially in the sphere of top positions. It is for this reason that, even today, female figures are hardly associated with entrepreneurial figures. However, this will not be the place to analyze and investigate the origin of the stereotypes that, over time, have relegated women to subordinate roles to those of men. Instead, the objective will be, in its entirety, to retrace, initially, the difficulties and barriers that women, even today, are called to face in order to establish themselves in the world of work, subsequently shifting the attention to theoretical models and practices related to equal opportunities that have been developed over the years in the corporate environment, concluding the paper with a practical demonstration, a case study, of a company, PwC, which, thanks to its Diversity & Inclusion policies, has managed to increase more and more the female component within the network, even managing to develop an innovative project, Labo, managed entirely by women.

Abstract
Gender equality is a right and guaranteeing it should be the duty of every nation; however, work has always been an area in which a predominantly male culture has developed, especially in the sphere of top positions. Although competent and suitable for the role, women have had to fight against prejudices, ideologies and structural obstacles in the system. It is for this reason that, even today, female figures are hardly associated with entrepreneurial figures. However, this will not be the place to analyze and investigate the origin of the stereotypes that, over time, have relegated women to subordinate roles to those of men. Instead, the objective will be, in its entirety, to retrace, initially, the difficulties and barriers that women, even today, are called to face in order to establish themselves in the world of work, subsequently shifting the attention to theoretical models and practices related to equal opportunities that have been developed over the years in the corporate environment, concluding the paper with a practical demonstration, a case study, of a company, PwC, which, thanks to its Diversity & Inclusion policies, has managed to increase more and more the female component within the network, even managing to develop an innovative project, Labo, managed entirely by women.È consentito all'utente scaricare e condividere i documenti disponibili a testo pieno in UNITESI UNIPV nel rispetto della licenza Creative Commons del tipo CC BY NC ND.
