During the five years at university I had the opportunity to acquire notions of different genres and, as soon as I understood the career path that I like to pursue, I focused more on specific topics. I studied the fundamentals related to the teaching of all kind of activities in the "water world" and then I move on to the development of managerial skills in sports through the Specialization Course in Sport Management. The choice of the topic "Sports abandonment" as a thesis of my Master's Degree in Motor Sciences derives from these notions and my work experience of over five years in a swimming facility, added to the passion for the understanding of interpersonal relationships. In this document I analyzed data and researches carried out in recent years by experts in sports, adding a personal study obtained from data from several swimming pools located in the Northern Italy, like, for example, the flow and attendance of members over the years. My intent is to explain the problem, the causes and the effects, as well as to offer possible solutions to better understand the phenomenon of sport abandonment, with the goal of limiting or avoiding it, for the benefit of both those who practice sports and facilities/sports organizations. Particular attention will be paid to the most critical segment of the population, that between adolescence and adulthood, as there are many changes in the lives of teenagers that can negatively affect sport partecipation.

Abstract
Particular attention will be paid to the most critical segment of the population, that between adolescence and adulthood, as there are many changes in the lives of teenagers that can negatively affect sport partecipation.È consentito all'utente scaricare e condividere i documenti disponibili a testo pieno in UNITESI UNIPV nel rispetto della licenza Creative Commons del tipo CC BY NC ND.
