INTRODUCTION: This paper analyzes the Pilates Method and the importance that it plays in learning the correct breathing technique, a fundamental activity both in sport and in IN THE ACTIVITIES OF EVERYDAY LIFE, and in the different life of the INDIVIDUAL he is both able-bodied and disabled. AIMS: RESPONDING TO THE QUESTIONS AND GIVING THE RELEVANT RESPONSES ON THE PILATES METHOD. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the Pilates Method. MATERIALS: The Pilates Method is the training program developed by Joseph Pilates which consists of exercises to be performed on the ground on a mat, and accompanied by exercises to be performed with specific tools. METHODS: A salient feature of the recommended physical work, decisive for obtaining quick and visible results, is a great precision in the execution of the exercises, which must be carried out, with elastic movements, in a relaxed condition and with a natural and deep breathing. By concentrating on individual movements, the mind becomes more vigilant, allowing the correct execution of the exercises, as it directs the thoughts towards what is happening in the body, which trains the body's awareness. This technique also allows the production of a pleasant state of relaxation.
INTRODUZIONE: Il presente elaborato analizza il Metodo Pilates e l'importanza che in esso riveste l'apprendimento della corretta tecnica della respirazione, attività fondamentale tanto nello sport quanto NELLE ATTIVITA' DELLA VITA QUOTIDIANA, e nella diversa vita dell' INDIVIDUO sia normodotato e sia diversamente abile. OBIETTIVI: RISPONDERE ALLE DOMANDE E DARE LE RELATIVE RISPOSTE SUL METODO PILATES. Lo scopo della tesi è analizzare il Metodo Pilates. MATERIALI: Il Metodo Pilates è il programma di allenamento elaborato da Joseph Pilates che consiste in esercizi da svolgere a terra su di un tappettino, e accompagnati da esercizi da effettuare con attrezzi specifici. METODI: Caratteristica saliente del lavoro fisico consigliato, determinante per ottenere risultati rapidi e visibili, è una grande precisione nell'esecuzione degli esercizi, che vanno svolti, con movimenti elastici, in una condizione rilassata e con una respirazione naturale e profonda. Attraverso la concentrazione sui singoli movimenti la mente diviene piu' vigile permettendo la corretta esecuzione degli esercizi, in quanto dirige i pensieri verso cio' che accade nel corpo, cio' addestra alla consapevolezza corporea. Tale tecnica inoltre consente il prodursi di un piacevole stato di rilassamento.
