The paper aims to offer a view of Harpalus, Alexander the Great's treasurer, in all its aspects. The thesis focuses on his biographical events and his relations with the Macedonian ruler and the Athenian politicians of the period, Demosthenes and Hyperides in particular.
L'elaborato intende offrire una visione di Arpalo, tesoriere di Alessandro Magno, in tutti i suoi aspetti. La tesi si concentra sulle vicende biografiche del personaggio e sui suoi rapporti con il sovrano macedone e i politici ateniesi del periodo, Demostene ed Iperide in particolare.
