La tesi (in inglese) esplora le relazioni tra il più antico codice di leggi Indoeuropeo, ossia il codice delle Leggi Ittiti, e il testo fondante del diritto romano rappresentato dalle dodici tavole. L'analisi contenutistica e linguistica dei due testi porta a far emergere alcuni aspetti comuni, soprattutto sul piano dell'espressione linguistica, che potrebbero rappresentare tratti ereditari derivanti da un comune patrimonio di oralità giuridica indoeuropea.

La tesi (in inglese) esplora le relazioni tra il più antico codice di leggi Indoeuropeo, ossia il codice delle Leggi Ittiti, e il testo fondante del diritto romano rappresentato dalle dodici tavole. L'analisi contenutistica e linguistica dei due testi porta a far emergere alcuni aspetti comuni, soprattutto sul piano dell'espressione linguistica, che potrebbero rappresentare tratti ereditari derivanti da un comune patrimonio di oralità giuridica indoeuropea.
