Dementia or Major Neurocognitive Disorder is an acquired intellectual deficits syndrome which impacts independence, social, daily functioning and occupational impairment. The diagnosis of Major NCD can be made using the DSM V diagnostic criteria. There are several risk factors that can lead to dementia such as Hypertension, Female sex, Elder populations and Low education level. This study aims to know the correlation and how big the correlation between independent variables : Female, Elder populations, and educational level with the dependent variable of the type of antihypertensive agent consumption in people with dementia and hypertension. This is a cross sectional study that has been conducted in RSUP RS Sardjito with the subjects of 171 patients who were listed in the medical record of this hospital from January 2021 - January 2023. The statistical analysis shows that sex type has no correlation with the type of antihypertensive drug consumption, while a correlation has been found in educational level and elder populations with the type of antihypertensive drug consumption in Dementia-Hypertensive patients, respectively. People who are less than 65 years old are less likely to consume ARB antihypertensive drugs compared to people at the same age who consumed other antihypertensive drug (not ARB nor ACE-I), while people with low educational level are more likely to consume ACE-I in patients with dementia and hypertension compared to people with the same educational level who consumed other type of anti hypertensive drug (not ACE-I nor ARB) Keywords : dementia, antihypertensive drug, Age, educational level
