FINANCIAL ANALYSIS OF A SELECTED COMPANY

The main objective of this master thesis is to evaluate the financial health of a selected company Ryanair Holdings plc, by using selected methods of ex-post financial analysis. The thesis is divided into 4 main parts. The first part represents a theoretical definition of the problem of financial analysis and is devoted to characteristics, objectives, classification, and methods. The second part defines the main objective and related partial objectives and describes the methodology and the sources used in the thesis. The third part, based on the theoretical framework, analyzes the publicly available financial data of the selected company for the period 2018 – 2022, by using selected methods of ex-post financial analysis and compare these results with the main competitors of the company. The final part of the thesis includes the evaluation of the results of the financial analysis and the proposal of suitable recommendations for the company to prevent the risk of a negative development of the financial situation.
