Gender equality in the workplace has become an increasingly critical issue in the modern world, where the principles of fairness and social justice are central to development. In this study, the gender hurdles that women face in their professional progression, particularly when it comes to obtaining leadership positions, are investigated, and the effectiveness of support programs that are meant to address these challenging situations is evaluated. The purpose of this study is to determine the most significant gender-related barriers that women experience while attempting to achieve leadership roles and to evaluate the present activities that are targeted at providing assistance for women who are in leadership positions. The study used a mixed-methods approach, including statistical analysis, comparative analysis, and content review to examine both structural and individual factors contributing to gender discrepancy in the professional domain. This research considers both the structural and institutional barriers contributing to gender discrepancy, as well as the socio-cultural and individual factors influencing gender inequality. This is what makes this research so innovative. In order to enable women's progress, the study underlines the significance of building targeted support programs, such as mentorship and sponsorship, as well as fostering an inclusive corporate culture. This is accomplished by assessing both the obstacles that exist and the measures that have been established to overcome them. The findings provide organizations and policymakers with recommendations that may be put into practice. These recommendations include the establishment of mentoring programs, the implementation of gender quotas in leadership posts, and the formulation of regulations that are intended to reduce gender prejudices in the workplace.

Abstract
These recommendations include the establishment of mentoring programs, the implementation of gender quotas in leadership posts, and the formulation of regulations that are intended to reduce gender prejudices in the workplace.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
