This study analyzes and comments on some short stories from the Collected Stories collection by Anglo-Irish author Elizabeth Bowen, in relation to the author’s life and experiences and the war period of the World War II, also making a prospective assessment about the transformation of short stories according to new communication channels.
Lo studio analizza e commenta alcune storie brevi tratte dalla raccolta Collected Stories dell'autrice Anglo-Irlandese Elizabeth Bowen, in relazione al''ersperienza di vita dell'autrice ed al periodi della Seconda Guerra Mondiale, facendo anche una valutazione prospettiva riguardo la trasformazione della narrazione breve in relazione ai nuovi canali di comunicazione.
