Interazione di un campo da golf con l'ambiente e il territorio: analisi condotta sul caso studio del Golf & Country Club Vigevano

This thesis is the result of a study aimed at analysing and estimating the possible interactions with the environment deriving from the management of the golf activity of the Golf & Country Club Vigevano. The paper is the result of a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the environmental aspects arising from the management of the G&C Club. The analyses and sector studies conducted were aimed at achieving an estimate, as quantitative as possible, of the interactions of the entire facility with the environment and the surrounding territory. In this context, the prevalent source of potential impact is the permanent control of the turf, which involves the use of herbicides, fertilisers, irrigation water, energy consumption, and vegetation cutting and maintenance. Consequently, the components potentially impacted are analysed: flora and fauna, surface and groundwater resources, soil and subsoil. The study made it possible to assess the extent of water resources used for irrigation, fertilisers and pesticides. These factors allowed an assessment of the possible and consequent impacts on the local vegetation and fauna, as well as considering the effects on the landscape function. 


la presente tesi di laurea rappresenta il risultato di uno studio finalizzato ad analizzare e stimare le possibili interazioni con l’ambiente derivanti dalla gestione dell’attività golfistica del Golf & Country Club Vigevano. L’elaborato è frutto di un’attività di analisi qualitativa e quantitativa degli aspetti ambientali derivanti dalla gestione del G&C Club. Le analisi e gli studi di settore condotti hanno avuto come obiettivo quello di pervenire ad una stima, per quanto possibile quantitativa, delle interazioni dell’intera struttura con l’ambiente ed il territorio circostante. In tale ambito la prevalente fonte di potenziale impatto è il controllo permanente del tappeto erboso che implica l’uso di diserbanti, fertilizzanti, acqua per irrigazione, consumo energetico, e taglio della vegetazione e manutenzione. Di conseguenza vengono analizzate le componenti potenzialmente impattate: flora e fauna, risorse idriche superficiali e sotterranee, suolo e sottosuolo. lo studio ha consentito di valutare l’entità delle risorse idriche utilizzate per l’irrigazione, dei fertilizzati e dei fitofarmaci. Tali fattori hanno permesso di valutare i possibili e conseguenti impatti sulla vegetazione e sulla fauna locale, oltre a considerare gli effetti sulla funzione paesaggistica.
