This thesis, carried out in collaboration with the Ariadne Group company, explores the process of web design through the lens of User Experience (UX) and Service Design, with the particular application to a University Library Service. It follows three primary phases: the Research phase, the Ideation and Prototyping phase, and the Usability Testing phase, with an emphasis on the first two. The dissertation emphasizes the importance of accessibility and usability, as the fundamental core to be followed in order to understand user behaviors and needs, for creating intuitive and effective web prototypes. From the very beginning of the Research phase, practical examples accompany the description of each activity as well as the statements of personal contribution. The practical insights highlight key decisions concerning contents and design. The technologies and tools used are described in detail, together with their practical applications, showing the development environment as well. The Atomic Design approach and the reasoning according to Content Types undoubtedly characterize the essence of project, leading to present a possible clear and effective guide for web design. To conclude, the thesis aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the UX design process, offering a valuable contributions to the field of inclusive web design.

Abstract
The technologies and tools used are described in detail, together with their practical applications, showing the development environment as well. The Atomic Design approach and the reasoning according to Content Types undoubtedly characterize the essence of project, leading to present a possible clear and effective guide for web design. To conclude, the thesis aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the UX design process, offering a valuable contributions to the field of inclusive web design.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
