The Thesis subject is based on an agricultural land of two hectares located in Ivory Coast that needs about 550-meter cube of water every day for an acceptable irrigation. The water is now pumped for a duration of 8 hours, but the issue is that the owner is using a diesel generator and because the diesel prices are very high these days and because of being from a poor country like Ivory Coast. Therefore, it wouldn’t remain in the budget to run this operation in the future, if we just rely on diesel generators. We are given the task to research alternate option for this. Based on our research we have suggested three options based on electric motor supplied by photovoltaic, i.e. DC pump, synchronous pump, Asynchronous pump. After investigating all these options, we have come to know that the best available option for him would be a dc pump because it is a onetime investment and in future it does not need any capital in terms of maintenance or fuel cost.

Abstract
After investigating all these options, we have come to know that the best available option for him would be a dc pump because it is a onetime investment and in future it does not need any capital in terms of maintenance or fuel cost.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
