Tullo Bellomi e le tavolette lignee di Palazzo Raimondi

This thesis aims to reconstruct the biography of Tullo Bellomi and to analyze the coffered ceiling of Palazzo Raimondi, both topics that have never been deepened. I was able to reconstruct the biography thanks to his collection deposited in the State Archives of Cremona, which contains several of his documents such as personal letters he received and some letters written by himself, most of them from 1946 to 1955, and some documents regarding lawsuits carried out during the war years. As for the coffered ceiling, it was built in the twentieth century at the behest of Bellomi, during the restoration of Palazzo Raimondi.This is the testimony of a Renaissance revival which has great artistic significance and demonstrates the bond that Tullo wanted to create with the founder of the Palace, Eliseo Raimondi.

Questa tesi mira a ricostruire la biografia di Tullo Bellomi e ad analizzare il soffitto a cassettoni di Palazzo Raimondi, entrambi argomenti che non sono mai stati approfonditi. Sono stata in grado di ricostruire la biografia grazie al suo fondo depositato nell'Archivio di Stato di Cremona, che contiene diversi suoi documenti come: lettere personali che ha ricevuto e alcune lettere scritte da lui stesso, la maggior parte delle quali dal 1946 al 1955, e alcuni documenti riguardanti cause legali che egli ha sostenuto durante gli anni della guerra. Per quanto riguarda il soffitto a cassettoni fu costruito nel Novecento per volere di Bellomi, durante i restauri di Palazzo Raimondi. Ed è la testimonianza di un revival rinascimentale che riveste un grande significato artistico e dimostra il legame che Tullo volle creare con il fondatore del Palazzo, Eliseo Raimondi.
