This thesis focuses on the characterization of candidate light sources for the Optical Injection System (OIS) of the CUPID experiment. The thermal stability of several laser diodes was investigated through measurements of the temperature dependence of their threshold current and differential efficiency. The results were used to assess their performance and to identify the most suitable candidate for implementation in the calibration system.

Abstract
This thesis focuses on the characterization of candidate light sources for the Optical Injection System (OIS) of the CUPID experiment. The thermal stability of several laser diodes was investigated through measurements of the temperature dependence of their threshold current and differential efficiency.
