La tesi si occupa di delineare le principali caratteristiche della garanzia fideiussoria, incentrando la trattazione sull'istituto della fideiussione omnibus e sull'articolo 1956 c.c. Oltre a ripercorrere l'evoluzione della garanzia e a delinearne le principali peculiarità, l'elaborato mira a identificare i meccanismi predisposti dal legislatore affinché il fideiussore possa essere tutelato a fronte di comportamenti pregiudizievoli del creditore.
