The dissertation analyses, in its first part, the creative context of Robert Schumann's so-called Liederjahr (1840), considered in many respects in continuity with the previous piano works of the years 1830-1839. In the second part the text focuses instead on Schumann's musical settings of poems by Heinrich Heine, and specifically on the case - one of a kind - of the Liederkreis Op. 24.
La tesi analizza, nella sua prima parte, il contesto creativo del cosiddetto Liederjahr (1840) di Robert Schumann, considerato per molti aspetti in continuità con le precedenti opere pianistiche degli anni 1830-1839. Nella seconda parte il testo si concentra invece sulle intonazioni schumanniane di poesie di Heinrich Heine, e in particolare sul caso - unico nel suo genere - del Liederkreis Op. 24.
