This thesis illustrates the technologies that will be employed for neutrino detection in the construction of the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE). DUNE is a next-generation long-baseline experiment that aims to answer to some of the unresolved questions of the Standard Model, through the phenomenon of neutrino oscillation. For the detection of these particles, the DUNE project aims to develop an innovative technology based on the precision of Time Projection Chamber (TPC) detectors, implemented in liquid argon (LAr) and on an unprecedented dimensional scale. This technology imposes some very stringent requirements, including the operation of certain devices at cryogenic temperatures and the need for an extremely efficient Photon Detection System. The present work delves into the PDS and, in particular, the electronic readout system of the scintillation signal that charged particles produce crossing the LAr. The thesis therefore presents the work carried out during the internship at the APC laboratory in Paris, which is engaged in the development of the readout electronics for the Vertical Drift module of the Far Detector. The construction of the experiment is starting. This thesis describes the development and calibration of the testbench that will serve to test some of the electronic boards of the signal acquisition chain will be presented. Finally, the characterization tests of some key electronic components of the readout system, such as lasers and photodiodes, which will contribute to the realization of the final project, will be discussed.

Abstract
Finally, the characterization tests of some key electronic components of the readout system, such as lasers and photodiodes, which will contribute to the realization of the final project, will be discussed.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
