La metafora e l'intraducibile

This work is an overview of the metaphor to understand what it can tell us and if it can be a philosophical tool. We follow the theories of Paul Ricoeur and Hans Blumenberg, between whom we tried to establish a theoretical contact. The result is a homogeneous research that begins with metaphor as a rhetorical figure and ends with a completely different conception that elevates it to an indispensable means of philosophy.

La tesi è una panoramica sulla metafora per capire cosa può dirci e se può essere uno strumento filosofico. Gli autori che si sono seguiti sono Paul Ricoeur e Hans Blumenberg, tra i quali si è cercato di stabilire un contatto teorico. L'esito è una ricerca omogenea che comincia dalla metafora come figura retorica e si conclude con una concezione affatto diversa che la eleva a mezzo indispensabile della filosofia.
