The debate about female transnational enterprises in the emerging field of modest fashion can be read through the lens of glocal networks and their social, cultural, economic impact. The objective of this paper is to define interactions between entrepreneurial actions and networks connectivity, at different stage, as facilitating agents of female-led transnational entrepreneurship. From this perspective, the study also concentrates on the interrelated variables with a pivotal role in making business decisions in women ventures. Given the high variability of the elements considered, the qualitative analyses has been employed to investigate the factors influencing modest fashion companies created by female entrepreneurs. The methodology focuses on the analysis of an international/transnational context and our findings underline the importance of social networks as empowering factors in the emergence and the development of women transnational entrepreneurships. Family networks are among the most influential enablers in order to take a new venture. Family ties, the emotional and practical support and the active participation, reflect their importance in financial aspects: family members and partners invest most of their personal savings in their enterprises, approving their economic decisions in start-up financings. It is clear that actions interrelated to government and institutions policies, ensuing familial/professional networks, could make the real difference for the transnational activities developed by immigrant female entrepreneurs. Given the prominent role played by women in entrepreneurship and the correlated aspects, it is desirable for the future to achieve additional considerations to this argument.

Abstract
Given the prominent role played by women in entrepreneurship and the correlated aspects, it is desirable for the future to achieve additional considerations to this argument.È consentito all'utente scaricare e condividere i documenti disponibili a testo pieno in UNITESI UNIPV nel rispetto della licenza Creative Commons del tipo CC BY NC ND.
