The tourism sector has been one of the main affected by the development of the ICTs and by the socio-economic changes happened during the recent years. The main goal of this Thesis is to analyse how the new consumer has incorporate technologies in his travel decision-making process in the rise of the sharing economy. Especially it is considered as a case study the leader company in the P2P accommodation sector; Airbnb. A personal elaborated survey has been developed achieving the final overall sample of 350 data that have been elaborated and studied to support and compare the theoretical considerations.
