Objective: The aim of the present study were to investigate if there is a correlation between the representational plane of the attachment parent pattern with behaviorally Interaction with children. Method: The study involved 19 lesbian mothers, aged between 30 and 50 years, with children aged between 3 months and 5 years. Each family has been encountered twice, with twenty days away from the first meeting and the second meeting. The instruments used were the Adult Attachment Interview (A.A.I. George, Kaplan and Main, 1985) and the Emotional Availability Scales (E.A.S. Easterbrooks M.A., Biringen Z.) in the following order: meeting 1: videotaping mother 1 with son, administration A.A.I. mom 1. Meeting 2: videotaping mother 2 with son, administration A.A.I. mom 2. Results: from the analysis of A.A.I. data, through a four-way distribution, showed that 63.15% of lesbian mothers has a secure attachment patterns (F). As for the analysis of E.A.S. data, through the use of a four-way contingency table, it showed that 78.94% of lesbian mothers shows a correlation between the representational plane of attachment and the behavioral interaction with children. Conclusions: the results obtained show a concordance of intergenerational ties and the absence of a substantial difference between parenting gay and heterosexual parenting
George, Kaplan e Main, 1985) e l’ Emotional Availability Scales (E.A.S.
