The cooperation between Morocco and the EU is considered to be a model. Morocco is a transit nation and it is acting as a responsible member of the international community and is trying to regulate migration in a legal and ethical manner. In the future, political tensions between Europe and Morocco over issues such as the Western Sahara could endanger the cooperation that exists between Morocco and Spain.
