LE MISURE ANTITERRORISMO FRA CONSIGLIO DI SICUREZZA DELLE NAZIONI UNITE E UNIONE EUROPEA. ASPETTI GIURIDICI.

Given the alarming and tragic terroristic attacks, the UNSC has taken immediate action with Resolution n. 2249 (2015) about the Islamic State in order to support the intervention in Syria and Iraq against ISIS. EU asserted its inlvolvement through Directive 2016/681 on Passenger Name Record (PNR), which enables to prevent, verify, investigate and act against terrorist and serious crimes, and through the Antiterrorism European Directive in order to prosecute and condegno any kind of mafia support to terrorist groups.

Alla luce dei tristi e preoccupanti attacchi terroristici, il Consiglio di sicurezza delle Nazioni Unite interviene con la risoluzione n. 2249 (2015) sullo Stato Islamico, per sostenere l’intervento in Siria ed in Iraq contro l’ISIS. Interviene, inoltre, anche l’Unione europea con la direttiva (UE) 2016/681 sull’uso dei dati del codice di prenotazione (Registro Nomi Passeggeri - PNR) a fini di prevenzione, accertamento, indagine e azione penale nei confronti dei reati di terrorismo e dei reati gravi, e con la direttiva europea antiterrorismo con lo scopo di perseguire e punire le forme di sostegno offerte dalle mafie ai gruppi terroristici.
