Lean Manufacturing is a traditional method that the manufactures are using for several decades for creating a value-oriented production process by removing all non-value activities. But with increasing complexity of the operations, lean management is not well enough for fulfilling the challenges. Here comes the industry 4.0 which by its sets of advance digitals. technologies can boost and improve the production while dealing with greater complexities. In this regard the combination between Lean method & Industry 4.0 approach (Lean Industry 4.0) can bring the manufacturing process the next excellence level. Recent studies show that successful implementation of lean industry 4.0 can improve conversion cost approximately 40%. In five to ten years. In this study the interplay of Lean Manufacturing & Industry 4.0 will be discussed. Here, the aspect of Industry 4.0 technologies can support Lean Production through lean tools, such as Kaizen, 5why’s, Poka yoke, 5s, Shopfloor management (SFM), Reduce chance of occurrence (RCO), Increase change of detection (ICD). By the way the Integration of industry 4.0 and lean Manufacturing helps to grow the organization by implementation of innovative ideas. Which helps to improve the Manufacturing Process by standardization the Packing unit of each Stock Keeping Units (SKU’s). In Each SKU’s “QR CODE” will be printed and generated to maintain Quality Standards and innovation for organizations growth. Industry 4.0 technologies will generate requiring data’s and can be avoid defects in FMCG sector. Effective decisions can be made company by Utilizing this “QR CODE” implementation in SKU’s. And improves the process flow of supply chain management, which will be benefit for the company to analyse the report of Sales & Supply in demand of goods. This study will show the organization growth by using lean tools and industry 4.0 technologies. Industry 4.0, Lean & Six sigma could be integrated & aligned. Together these paradigms can help manufacturer maximize efficiency & process improvement. The goal of this study is to analyse & discuss the implementation and usefulness of the traditional tools like Lean & Six sigma within I4.0 reality to make it more robust, quality oriented & confront the upcoming challenges of the future manufacturing excellence.
