Pragmatica in trincea: analisi linguistica delle epistole dei soldati italiani durante la Grande Guerra

The thesis analyzes the most recurrent pragmatic and textual linguistics phenomena in the letters and diaries written by Italian soldiers to their families during their time in the trenches, with a specific focus on the years 1916-1917. This study highlights the communicative strategies employed, the similarities and differences among the various writers, as well as any traces of continuity with the informal written language of contemporary Italian.

La tesi analizza i fenomeni pragmatici e di linguistica del testo più ricorrenti nelle lettere e nei diari scritti dai soldati italiani ai propri familiari durante la loro esperienza in trincea, con un focus specifico sul biennio 1916-1917. Questo studio mette in luce le strategie comunicative adottate, le analogie e le differenze tra i vari scriventi, oltre a evidenziare eventuali tracce di continuità con il linguaggio informale scritto dell'italiano contemporaneo.
