This thesis is devoted to the analysis of a bulk-to-boundary correspondence for massive and interacting scalar quantum field theories on asymptotically flat spacetimes. After reviewing the geometric structures underlying the construction, in particular globally hyperbolic and asymptotically flat spacetimes, we introduce the framework of perturbative algebraic quantum field theory (pAQFT). Interacting observables are constructed perturbatively by means of the classical M{\o}ller map and its quantum counterpart, the Bogoliubov map. Starting from the bulk-to-boundary correspondence for a free, conformally coupled massless scalar field, we develop extensions to massive and interacting theories in order to study the asymptotic behaviour of the theory. In the massive case, the field observable is constructed as a formal power series in $m^2$, whose coefficients admit a projection to future null infinity. On Minkowski spacetime, and in the presence of an infrared cutoff, we prove convergence of the resulting boundary series by means of energy estimates for the characteristic Goursat problem. For a quartically self-interacting theory, we extend the construction perturbatively and compute the first-order correction in the coupling constant to the projected stress-energy tensor at the boundary.

Abstract
For a quartically self-interacting theory, we extend the construction perturbatively and compute the first-order correction in the coupling constant to the projected stress-energy tensor at the boundary.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
