Abstract
The concept and development of the term serial killer is very widespread in modern society and is specified as the analysis of the triggering factors, present since childhood, involves a consideration of these deviant subjects for society. The dsm-5 analyzes various pathologies such as narcissistic, borderline, antisocial disorder or schizophrenia that can be linked to the deviance of the subject, to which is added the possible influence of socio-environmental factors. Jurisprudence also pays attention to the commission of crimes considering the ability to understand and want and therefore the imputability of the subject examined. The phases for the commission of a murder are so many that they form a sort of ritual to which the serial killer will refer every time he wants to commit a murder. In support of the theories and historical references taken into consideration, the television series "Mindhunter" attempts to re-propose all the important stages of the process of forming the question, referring to real events. Specifically, through the analysis of a case of a serial murderer, the proximity of the theory to the organization and the commission of the series of murders attributable to the one who is defined as a serial killer will be highlighted.È consentito all'utente scaricare e condividere i documenti disponibili a testo pieno in UNITESI UNIPV nel rispetto della licenza Creative Commons del tipo CC BY NC ND.
